The Chicago Bears are having a decent season under Matt Eberflus in 2024. The offensive-minded play-caller is still figuring out how to utilize Caleb Williams' talents best, but he has led the team to three wins in its first five games.

The Bears have recorded wins against the Tennessee Titans, Los Angeles Rams and Carolina Panthers. However, they dropped back-to-back games against the Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts. On offense, the Bears have amassed 191.8 passing yards per game, ranking 22nd in the league, and have allowed just 174 passing yards per contest, ranking sixth on defense.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have had a humbling start to the 2024 NFL regular season. They recorded their first win of the season last week, defeating the Indianapolis Colts by a three-point margin. Before then, the franchise had recorded losses against the Miami Dolphins, Cleveland Browns, Buffalo Bills and Houston Texans.

A major reason for the Jaguars' poor record in 2024 is their defense. Jacksonville's defense has let in 287.8 passing yards per game, which ranks as the worst in the NFL. Their 201.6 passing yards per contest isn't much better, as it ranks 20th around the league. Doug Pederson must get things in order and fast if he wants to avoid being the next coach shown the door in 2024.
