Devin Singletary of the Buffalo Bills warms up before a game

Some fantasy managers are still wondering whether to start Gus Edwards or Devin Singletary in Week 15.

Devin Singletary is a more effective fantasy option than Edwards, and here's why.

Why is Devin Singletary a better fantasy option than Gus Edwards in Week 15?

For the running backs of the Buffalo Bills this week, there is an exciting possibility for fantasy returns. While the Miami Dolphins have been averaging 19.54 fantasy points conceded to running backs this campaign, which is roughly the 17th mark in the league, their average of 22.23 in their last four outings puts them 10th in the league during that period.

The last two games have seen the Dolphins have the most difficulty stopping running backs. In the past two weeks, they have given up 24.4 and 29.7 fantasy points to the backfields of the Los Angeles Chargers and San Francisco 49ers, respectively.

Devin Singletary has the skill to take advantage of this matchup even though he is not on the same level as Christian McCaffrey and Austin Ekeler.

Gus Edwards' stats and fantasy predictions for Week 15

As soon as J.K. Dobbins returned to the pitch after his injury, Gus Edwards' tenure as the primary running back for the Baltimore Ravens was marked to end. Despite this, Edwards is still a solid streaming alternative.

The Cleveland Browns defensive unit has given up the third-most fantasy points to opposing running backs in the league this season, and Edwards has consistently performed well as a rusher on the field.

Given the opposition and the Ravens' quarterback dilemma, Baltimore may rely on their ground game this week rather than their air game. Edwards may easily finish with 15–17 rushes and a respectable running score.

If J.K. Dobbins is still free to be picked in your league, he should undoubtedly be selected first. He scored 18 fantasy points in his first game back in Week 14.

In four of his five outings this campaign, Edwards has attempted at least 11 times to rush the ball. Due to future matches against the Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Atlanta Falcons, Gus Edwards stills makes for a strong flex alternative in deeper leagues.
