George Kittle, Dallas Goedert, and Sam LaPorta are among the best tight ends in the NFL and were highly coveted by everyone during the fantasy football drafts. Unfortunately, the tight ends around the league have massively underperformed this season, and not many are playing up to their usual standards.

In this article, I will discuss who among Kittle, Goedert, and LaPorta is the best option for Week 4 and go through each of their fantasy football outlooks.

Kittle and the San Francisco 49ers are up against the New England Patriots this week, while LaPorta and the Detroit Lions will play on Monday against the Seattle Seahawks. Dallas Goedert, who is coming off a dominant performance against the New Orleans Saints, will be up against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday.

George Kittle did not play in Week 3 due to a hamstring injury, and the 49ers lost their second straight game. He is expected to play on Sunday against the Patriots and will be determined to help his team return to winning ways.

Kittle has recorded 11 receptions for 116 yards and a touchdown on 13 targets in two games this season. Despite missing a game, he is currently the seventh-highest-scoring tight end in PPR scoring leagues with 28.6 points.

The 49ers are still without Christian McCaffrey, and Deebo Samuel is listed as questionable for Week 4. As a result, Kittle will have enough targets to make an impact against the Patriots alongside Brandon Aiyuk and Jauan Jennings.

Dallas Goedert is currently the highest-scoring tight end in PPR scoring leagues with 40.9 points. In three games this season, he has 17 receptions for 239 yards on 20 targets.

In last week's win against the Saints, Goedert had 10 receptions for 170 yards and stepped up for his team in the absence of A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith, who suffered a concussion during the game.

Smith is ruled out for Week 4, while Brown is still listed as questionable. Due to this, Jalen Hurts will continue to target Goedert and the tight end is expected to have another good performance, this time against the Bucs.

The Buccaneers defense is allowing an average of 20.7 points and 233.7 passing yards per game this season. Both Goedert and Saquon Barkley are expected to continue their good form against the NFC South franchise.

Sam LaPorta Fantasy Outlook Week 4

Sam LaPorta suffered an ankle injury during the Lions' 20-13 win over the Arizona Cardinals last week. As of now, he is expected to play in Week 4 but is definitely not 100% healthy.

LaPorta has had a slow start to the season, recording eight receptions for 94 yards in three games. The Lions Pro Bowl tight end was projected to be the highest-scoring tight end in fantasy football this year, but so far, he has just scored 17.4 points in PPR scoring leagues.

He will go against an unbeaten Seattle Seahawks team this week, and it will be challenging for LaPorta to make a significant impact. The Seahawks defense is allowing just 14.3 points and 132.3 passing yards per game to their opponents this season. The Lions do have a bye week after this game, and I think LaPorta will be a better choice for fantasy football after that.

George Kittle vs Dallas Goedert vs Sam LaPorta: Final Verdict

Sportskeeda's Start/Sit analyzer has Dallas Goedert scoring the most points among the three tight ends. He is projected to score 11.5 points in Week 4, just one more than George Kittle. The rest of the projected stats can be seen in the image below:

The Eagles will be without DeVonta Smith and potentially A.J. Brown, which makes the upcoming fixture quite enticing for people who have Goedert on their team. He will serve as a safety blanket for Hurts until the star receivers are back on the field, and continue to have high production.
