Managers always have a ton of wide receivers to choose from each week as they are the deepest of all the positions in fantasy football. Narrowing them down to the best options is required to optimize weekly lineups. Analyzing their matchups and recent performances, among other factors, produced the following list of the best targets and fades for Week 6.

Tank Dell has been extremely disappointing during the 2024 fantasy football season so far. He currently ranks as the overall WR72, but his role for the Houston Texans in Week 6 is expected to see a significant increase. Nico Collins has been ruled out with an injury, so Dell will join Stefon Diggs in the starting lineup. In a favorable matchup against the New England Patriots, he is a strong target.

Jalen Tolbert has clearly emerged as the WR2 in the Dallas Cowboys' high-powered passing offense. He has finished among the top 25 weekly wide receivers three times this year, including a season-best WR12 finish last week. Tolbert gets an ideal Week 6 matchup against the Detroit Lions' struggling pass defense, making him an excellent player to use in lineups.

DeAndre Hopkins had a solid first season with the Tennessee Titans last year, ranking as the overall WR22 in fantasy football. This year has been much more disappointing as he currently ranks as just WR74 so far. Hopkins has also finished outside of the top 70 wide receivers in three of his four games this year, so he must be faded despite a favorable matchup against the Indianapolis Colts.

Keenan Allen is in a similar situation as a former superstar wide receiver who is having a disappointing 2024 season. He has finished outside of the top 50 wide receivers in all three of his games with the Chicago Bears so far, so he should be avoided in Week 6 lineups. The Jacksonville Jaguars' passing defense has severely struggled, but Allen hasn't shown that he can be trusted.

Here's who joins them as fades this week:

Must Sits

  • DeAndre Hopkins
  • Keenan Allen
  • Ladd McConkey
  • Courtland Sutton
  • Romeo Doubs

DFS Fades

  • George Pickens
  • Zay Flowers
  • Amari Cooper
