The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have had some of the best fantasy football assets across the NFL in recent years. While they've largely been disappointing outside their 2020 Super Bowl victory with Tom Brady at the helm, Tampa has had plenty of consistent fantasy football scorers over the years.

In 2023, the Buccaneers won the NFC South for the third consecutive year with a 9-8 record. They then beat the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Wild Card playoff, before being eliminated in the Divisional round by the Detroit Lions.

As they look to once again make the postseason, which offensive fantasy football assets can fire them to success in 2024?

Buccaneers' best fantasy assets in 2024

#5 - Cade Otton, TE

Starting at tight end for the Buccaneers in 2024 is Cade Otton, who should be considered a late-round sleeper fantasy football option in 2024.

Last year, Otton was TE20 in PPR scoring with 445 yards and four touchdowns on 47 receptions. He should arguably have had better numbers, too, as he ran the second-most routes among all tight ends in 2023.

His ADP of 195 overall means he's free in most leagues, and if he can get the ball more, he can be a solid bench option this season.

#4 - Baker Mayfield, QB

Baker Mayfield has resurrected his career in Tampa Bay after he put up career-high numbers in completions (364), passing yards (4,044) and total touchdowns (29) in 2023.

Mayfield ended last season as QB10 in fantasy football, benefitting from working with quarterback whisperer Dave Canales. However, Canales became HC of the Carolina Panthers this offseason, and the Buccaneers' new offensive coordinator is former Kentucky OC Liam Coen.

Should Mayfield and Coen click early, he can be a solid backup fantasy football quarterback in 2024.

#3 - Chris Godwin, WR

Veteran wideout Chris Godwin continues to be a solid fantasy football option after ending 2023 as WR28 in PPR scoring.

Godwin put up his third consecutive 1,000 season in Tampa Bay but was outshone by Mike Evans in fantasy realms despite leading the team in receptions and receiving yards. His three total touchdowns versus Evans' 13 meant he took a backseat in fantasy football last year.

Godwin is touted to return to the slot in 2024, where he's played some of his best football, so don't count out the possibility of him being the best Buccaneers wideout in fantasy this season.

#2 - Rachaad White, RB

Despite not putting up efficient numbers in 2023, Rachaad White looks set to once again be the bell-cow back for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

White ranked 42nd in missed tackles forced per attempt, 40th in explosive run rate and 45th in yards after contact per attempt out of 49 qualifying RBs, as per Fantasy Points Data.

Even though the efficiency wasn't there, White still ended the year as RB4 in PPR scoring after amassing 1,539 total yards and nine TDs.

His volume makes him an excellent fantasy option, but expect rookie Bucky Irving to play a part in this offense.

#1 - Mike Evans, WR

Arguably the most consistent wide receiver of his generation, Mike Evans remains an excellent fantasy football option in 2024.

Evans was WR7 in PPR scoring after catching 76 passes for 1,233 yards and 13 touchdowns. This meant that Evans topped 1,000 yards for the 10th season in a row — an NFL record to start a career.

Despite turning 31 in August, Evans penned a two-year, $52 million contract extension this offseason, which shows his importance to this team.

His ADP is at 37 currently, meaning you could snag one of the true great wideouts of the last 10 years in round three of most drafts.
