The New England Patriots had a terrible 2023 campaign in legendary head coach Bill Belichick's final season. In both fantasy football realms and within the NFL, the Patriots' offense was poor, as they scored just 27 TDs all year, the 3rd fewest in the entire league.

Along with the hiring of Jerod Mayo, the team has a new franchise QB in Drake Maye, who they selected with the 3rd overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft. New England shipped off Mac Jones to Jacksonville and will be hoping Maye can revitalize an offense that was tough to watch at times in 2023.

That raises the question of which of their offensive stars can help change the teams' fortune and become excellent fantasy football assets in 2024.

#5. JuJu Smith-Schuster, WR

JuJu Smith-Schuster joined the New England Patriots prior to the 2023 season after stints with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Kansas City Chiefs.

Smith-Schuster was signed over Jakobi Meyers, who was already on the team, and the Patriots potentially made the wrong choice as Meyers was excellent for his new team, the Las Vegas Raiders, whilst Smith-Schuster dealt with concussion and ankle injuries that derailed his season.

He managed 933 yards on 78 receptions in 2022 with the Chiefs. If he can develop a rapport with whoever starts at QB in Week 1, he could be a sleeper pick.

#4. Ja'Lynn Polk, WR

The New England Patriots have two exciting talents coming into the wide receiver room as rookies, namely Javon Baker and Ja'Lynn Polk. Polk was taken in round two of the 2024 NFL draft, so expect the Patriots to have a plan to utilize him early.

The former Washington man looked excellent in training camp and his ADP is currently at #178 overall. In his last year in college, he totaled 69 receptions for 1,159 yards and nine touchdowns. If he can replicate a similar form, he could be a solid option for your fantasy football team.

#3. Hunter Henry, TE

Despite the offense as a whole struggling in 2023, tight end Hunter Henry was one of the few performers to come out of the season positively. Henry ended last year with 42 receptions for 419 yards and six touchdowns, the most scores by anyone on the Patriots.

This year, he will hopefully have more weapons around him to take some of the heat away. After averaging 10.8 fantasy points per game last year, his ADP of #162 overall makes him a solid late-round tight end pick for your fantasy football team.

#2. DeMario Douglas, WR

WR DeMario Douglas came into the 2023 season as a sixth-round rookie but led the entire team in receiving yards and came 2nd in receptions, only behind Ezekiel Elliott.

After securing a starting berth on the Patriots' team, Douglas had a team-leading 20.8% target share and was WR3 or better in fantasy football, scoring in five of eight games where he had over 50% playtime. He could be a sneaky-good flex option for your fantasy football team in 2024.

#1. Rhamondre Stevenson, RB

The best fantasy football asset on the New England Patriots in 2024 is RB Rhamondre Stevenson. After an excellent 2022 season where he finished as RB7 in PPR scoring, he could only finish as RB35 in 2023 in a terrible offensive showing for New England.

He struggled with injuries last year, but when he was healthy between Weeks 9-13, he was 13th in missed tackles forced per attempt and third in yards after contact per attempt. He will again be the lead back even after New England picked up Antonio Gibson in free agency and could prove to be a solid RB2 in 2024.
