Could Derek Carr be leading one of the most efficient offenses in NFL history? It sure seems like he has a chance through the first two games of the 2024 season.

Carr has led the New Orleans Saints on 15-straight scoring drives to start the season. That is the longest streak since the 1978 season, according to Elias Sports Bureau.

New Orleans scored on all nine of their offensive possessions in Week 1 against the Carolina Panthers. The offense scored five touchdowns as kicker Blake Grupe nailed four field goals.

This week, the Saints will face the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 3 at home and will look to improve to 3-0. They're currently tied for first place in the NFC South with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers who are also 2-0. The Eagles will look to improve to 2-1 after suffering a loss to the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday night in Week 2.
