DJ Moore and Brian Thomas - two wideouts who are in differing career trajectories as their teams meet in London later on Sunday.

One is a veteran in his seventh season who enjoyed a monstrous breakout campaign. He put up career-best numbers that would have earned him a Pro Bowl in another world. The other is a rookie looking to establish himself as the No. 1 option early in his career.

Which narrative carries more appeal towards fantasy players, though? This analysis aims to find out.

In hindsight, Chicago Bears landed a potential cornerstone when they traded for DJ Moore at the beginning of the 2023-24 season. He rewarded them with career-highs in evey relevant receiving stat and nearly led them to a surprise playoff appearance - despite having a rather disappointing quarterback room feeding him.

Under Caleb Williams, he is now just one-third of a monstrous corps that also includes Rome Odunze and Keenan Allen. The promise has not exactly been seen so far, but the good thing is that the Bears are 3-2 heading into today's game.

And their opponents have a rather anonymous secondary that has yet to truly make an impact so far in their careers.

With the right coaching, Brian Thomas Jr., alongside any of Christian Kirk, Gabe Davis, and Devin Duvernay, may signal a return to the Jacksonville Jaguars' early days.

The franchise was actually a pass and catch-first team in their early days. Boasting one of the best WR duos of the 20th century in Jimmy Smith and Keenan McCardell, they made two AFC Championship Games when they played together.

But in the 21st, the emergence of dominant running backs like Fred Taylor, Maurice Jones-Drew, Leonard Fournette, and most recently Travis Etienne, as well as tight ends like Marcedes Lewis and Evan Engram, has shifted the perception (although Allen Robinson and DJ Chark have each made one Pro Bowl during that span).

And the presence of Pro Bowlers Jaylon Johnson and Kevin Bayrd in the opposing secondary may lead the Jaguars towards the run - even against the likes of Pro Bowlers Montez Sweat and Tremaine Edmunds.

The Sportskeeda Start/Sit tool leaves no doubt - DJ Moore wins this matchup.

If ever Caleb Williams wants to throw more, then this is his chance - the lack of Tyson Campbell is still hampering Duval. Ronald Darby and Montaric Brown have doing their best, but they keep getting burned by opposing offenses. And against a very stacked offense, it will hurt them.

The same is true on the other side. Leadership from teo All-Pro and Pro Bowl defensve backs is all the Bears need to shoot down the opposing offense.
