The New York Jets have just formed one of the top WR1/WR2 tandems in the NFL with Garrett Wilson and Davante Adams. The trade for Adams, Aaron Rodgers' favorite target in Green Bay, is official heading into Week 7.

Davante Adams fantasy outlook for Week 7
It didn't take too long for interim Jets head coach Jeff Ulbrich to confirm that Davante Adams will make his debut for the franchise under the bright lights of primetime football this Sunday.
However, there are some key things to consider for the matchup—most notably, the Jets are on a short week after their Monday Night Football game against the Bills. Rodgers hasn't looked 100% after suffering an ankle injury in Week 5 against the Vikings and considering Adams himself is coming off a hamstring injury, it's hard to predict how things will play out.
The good news is that Rodgers and Adams have long-standing chemistry from their time together in Green Bay.
Garrett Wilson's fantasy outlook for Week 7
Perhaps the biggest loser of the Davante Adams trade is Garrett Wilson, as his target share is expected to dip.
Over Weeks 5 and 6, Wilson's chemistry with Rodgers had been building, and he saw an uptick in targets — 23 against the Vikings and 10 against the Bills.
That being said, Rodgers had a preference for Adams, particularly in the red zone, which could hurt Wilson's scoring opportunities.
On the positive side, Wilson could see fewer double and triple coverages, opening the field up a little more for efficient play. Still, the Steelers boast one of the league’s top pass-rushing defenses, and while the Jets' offensive line performed well against the Bills, it hasn’t been consistently strong this season.
Davante Adams or Garrett Wilson final verdict
This isn't the best matchup for either WR to exploit. Despite having a couple of off weeks, this Steelers defense is among the best in the league and the Jets' OL isn't.
The Jets' schedule gets easier from here but there are too many factors up in the air for either Adams or Wilson to have a big night at the Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh.
