Davante Adams and Amari Cooper made headlines on Tuesday when they were traded to the AFC East. Adams moved to New York Jets to reunite with his former Green Bay cohort Aaron Rodgers, while Cooper did so to the Buffalo Bills to upgrade Josh Allen's passing attack.

The two may start playing for their new teams as early as this Sunday. But for this fantasy matchup, they are pitted against a peer who's still with his original team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' Mike Evans.

It's no secret that Davante Adams had been wanting one of two things in 2024: pair him with Aidan O'Connell or trade him. With the Las Vegas Raiders seemingly sticking with Gardner Minshew despite some horrid performances, he decided that he wanted out and got it.

If he plays against the Pittsburgh Steelers, he will have to contend with a mostrous secondary that boasts cornerbacks Joey Porter Jr. and Donte Jackson and safeties DeShon Elliott and Minkah Fitzpatrick - all of whom could shut him down.

The Cleveland Browns have been shockingly poor. Deshaun Watson has been seemingly exposed as someone who has monstrously regressed, and that regression has bled into the rest of the team, especially the offense.

Amari Cooper was especially susceptible, failing to hit at least 100 yards in the first six games and scoring only two touchdowns (both in the same game). He couldn't have found a better landing spot than the Buffalo Bills, who have been on the hunt for a Stefon Diggs-esque dominator in the receiving game despite leading the AFC East.

Should he play on Sunday, he would face a strong secondary boasting L'Jarius Sneed, Quandre Diggs, Jamal Adams and Amani Hooker.

Finally, there's Mike Evans. A long-serving member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers since they drafted him in 2014, he has consistently produced at a high level and set multiple records.

Evans has had a rather slow start to the seaeson, not hitting 100 yards in the first six games. But he has scored five touchdowns, establishing himself as a solid redzone threat.

He will need to tap into that talent against one of the league's better secondaries in the Baltimore Ravens, which boasts All-Pros/Pro Bowlers Marlon Humphrey and Kyle Hamilton.

The SK Start/Sit Tool leans towards the player with the best team longevity: Evans. He has been one of the Buccaneers' most dependable players for around a decade and looks set to continue his dominant play barring a devastating injury.

Davante Adams and Amari Cooper, meanwhile, have also been prolific dominators in their own right. But entering a new team with different strategies and cultures, it remains to be seen whether they can keep up their form.
