Cooper Kupp can be one of the most explosive wide receivers in the NFL - when he is healthy. The problem is, he has seldom been healthy, often falling victim to a debilitating injury at some point in a given season. In 2024, he played the first two games and has not been seen since.

And given the Los Angeles Rams' performance so far, it is clear they need him back. But when will he be back?

But with the Rams on a bye in Week 6, he certainly shall have received the necessary amount of rest and recuperation to be cleared to play against the Las Vegas Raiders.

On Monday, head coach Sean McVay revealed that he would be hosting a special workout to determine whether he can practice for the game:

"We'll see how he's doing. He's making good progress. I'll have an injury update [Wednesday] in regards to how today goes for him. There is a possibility he could be ready this week. There's also a possibility that he might not be ready."

But even then, he is optimistic that Kupp will pass it:

"He's feeling good, he's feeling optimistic. But he's also very aware of what that looks like to be ready to roll and to maybe not quite be there yet. So today will be a big day."

Week 7 practice has yet to truly begin for the Rams, but already there have major developments for other offensive players beside Cooper Kupp.

Also on Monday, McVay revealed that Joe Noteboom, who has not been seen since the season-opening loss at the Detroit Lions, also because of a sprained ankle, would be having a private workout to assess his healthiness and readiness against the Raiders.
