The NFL playoffs are upon us and the six Wild Card round games had no shortage of drama.

The Dallas Cowboys, Jacksonville Jaguars, New York Giants, Buffalo Bills, Cincinnati Bengals, and San Francisco 49ers made it to the divisional round matchups. They will be joined by the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles, who received first-round byes after topping the AFC and NFC standings respectively.

Some fans, though, have been keen to learn whether these teams can sign free agents during the postseason.

During the playoffs, NFL teams are eligible to sign players who aren't under contract. They can also sign players from other teams' practice squads that aren't participating in the postseason. However, teams are not allowed to trade players during the playoffs.

In two AFC matchups, the Kansas City Chiefs will take on the Jacksonville Jaguars while the Buffalo Bills lock horns with the Cincinnati Bengals. The two NFC games will see the Dallas Cowboys clash horns with the San Francisco 49ers while the New York Giants will square off against the Philadelphia Eagles.

As we head into divisional-round matchups this upcoming weekend, here's a look at the schedule and TV details for the same:

Saturday, January 21

  • Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Kansas City Chiefs at 4:30 PM ET on NBC.
  • New York Giants vs. Philadelphia Eagles at 8:15 PM ET on Fox.

Sunday, January 22

  • Cincinnati Bengals vs. Buffalo Bills at 3:00 PM on CBS.
  • Dallas Cowboys vs. San Francisco 49ers at 6:30 PM on Fox.
