Week 7 of the 2024 fantasy football season kicks off with a Thursday Night Football matchup between the New Orleans Saints and Denver Broncos. Managers should always be looking to get each week off to a strong start, so it's important to carefully analyze all of their lineup options in the opening game. Here are the best players to target and fade.
Broncos vs Saints Week 7 Fantasy Football Start 'Em picks
Courtland Sutton got his 2024 fantasy football season off to a slow start, finishing outside of the top 50 wide receivers in each of the first two weeks. He has turned things around since then, exceeding 50 yards in three of his past four games and scoring a touchdown in two of them.
He is one of the best overall players to target in this game against the Saints, who have allowed the fourth-most passing yards per game this year.
The Saints offense comes into Week 7 with some significant injuries. Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed have both been ruled out, while Taysom Hill is not expected to play. This opens the door for Bub Means to take on a larger role, as he did last week. He recorded five receptions for 45 yards and a touchdown, and while he is difficult to trust against the Broncos' elite defense, he is at least a solid DFS pick.

Broncos vs Saints Week 7 Fantasy Football Sit 'Em picks
Spencer Rattler was relatively solid in the first start of his career last week filling in for the injured Derek Carr. He totaled 243 passing yards and a touchdown with 27 rushing yards on his way to a QB20 weekly finish. He demonstrated his upside as the Saints' short-term starter, but should still be avoided in fantasy football lineups against an elite Broncos passing defense.
With the exception of Alvin Kamara, managers would be wise to avoid the Saints' offensive player in their Week 7 lineups as a whole. They may find it difficult to find offensive production against such a strong defensive unit, especially considering all of the injuries to their skill players.
