The New Orleans Saints will host the Denver Broncos in Week 7 of the 2024 NFL season. The Thursday Night Football matchup is set to kick off at 8:15 p.m. ET from Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.

Here's a look at the players that won't feature in the TNF matchup.

Who is inactive for the Saints?

  • Cesar Ruiz, C/G
  • Pete Werner, LB
  • Rashid Shaheed, WR
  • Chris Olave, WR

Ruiz has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Broncos due to a knee injury. The center did not participate in any practice sessions during the week.

Werner won't play against Denver because he is nursing a hamstring injury. The linebacker did not participate in practice this week.

Shaheed is dealing with a knee injury ahead of Thursday's game. The wideout did not practice during the week either.

Olave is in the concussion protocol and will not be available to play against the Broncos on Thursday night. The receiver did not practice in the week.

The Saints have also listed quarterback Derek Carr and tight end Tayson Hill as doubtful.

Who is inactive for the Broncos?

  • Alex Palczewski, OT
  • Pat Surtain II, CB

Palczewski is ruled out of Week 7 due to an ankle injury. The offensive tackle was a limited participant in practice on Monday and Tuesday but was kept out on Wednesday.

Pat Surtain II is in the concussion protocol and won't play against the Saints on Thursday after being kept out of practice in the week.
