The Washington Commanders will face what is likely to be their toughest challenge yet when they take on the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday at the M&T Bank Stadium. The Commanders have more than a few names on their injury report this week, chief among them being Brian Robinson Jr.

The Commanders running back seemingly picked up an injury in Washington's Week 5 win over the Cleveland Browns.

Brian Robinson Jr. injury update

The Washington Commanders released their injury report on Wednesday, October 10, and there were several names who did not participate in practice to start the week. Robinson Jr. was one of six players who did not suit up.

The Commanders RB was held out of practice owing to a knee injury. It's important to note that he was also dealing with a knee issue last week but seemingly played through it in the 34-13 win over the Browns. He had seven carries for 18 yards and two touchdowns in Week 5, taking his season tally to five. However, those 18 yards were a season-low for Robinson Jr.

The Commanders still have two more days of practice to get through so the alarm bells won't be ringing just yet. However, if Robinson Jr fails to suit up on Thursday and Friday, he could be held out of the game against Baltimore.

After suffering a concussion a week prior, Austin Ekeler was back against the Browns but suffered a heel injury. The former Chargers running back was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday.

Zach Ertz also did not practice, but that was down to him getting a veteran's rest day.

Guard Nick Allegretti (ankle), defensive end Clelin Ferrell (knee), linebacker Dante Fowler Jr. (illness) and safety Tyler Owens (shin) were also registered as DNP on Wednesday.

Wide receiver Noah Brown was listed as a limited participant with a groin injury, but if all goes well, he is expected to suit up against Baltimore on Sunday.
