Alvin Kamara popped up on the injury report for the New Orleans Saints on Wednesday. To begin the week, Kamara was held out of practice, as the Saints listed him having hand and hip injuries.

Kamara has been on the injury report the last two weeks, dealing with the same injuries. He suited up in both games, playing against the Atlanta Falcons and the Kansas City Chiefs in back-to-back weeks.

Although he played in both games, his touch total went down from 26 to 17. Kamara's status for the next two days of practice will be crucial to whether he plays this weekend against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Saints have listed quarterback Derek Carr out of Sunday's game with an oblique tear. Spencer Rattler will make his first NFL career start in Carr's absence, so it would be very beneficial for Rattler to have Kamara in his first NFL start.
