Kenny Wallace has touched upon 23XI Racing and Front Row Motorsport's antitrust lawsuit against NASCAR, and the governing body's 'meritless' jab against the two teams in return. Referring to the entire situation, Wallace slammed the suing culture and revealed that it is not to be taken seriously.

23XI Racing and Front Row Motorsport decided against signing NASCAR's latest charter agreement. They claimed that the governing body did not provide them a fair bargaining opportunity and, thus they did not sign the charter deal.

Following this, the two teams filed an antitrust lawsuit against NASCAR. Weeks later, the governing body responded by claiming that 23XI and FRM's lawsuit had no merit.

Kenny Wallace shared his thoughts on the latest developments with regards to the lawsuit, and claimed that at the end of the day still they have "dinner" together.

"One thing I'd like to explain to you that I've learned in the past is that I've watched people sue each other, and then later on go to dinner with each other," Wallace said in his latest X video. "When I hear of lawsuits, it scares the hell out of me. But for some people, lawsuits are just what they do to end an argument. This is big boy language." (0:45-1:16)
"So what we're seeing right now is big boy stuff. You know I witnessed a picture over a week or two at Talladega I believe where Steve Phelps (NASCAR President) was conferring with one of the players that was suing them... So anyway I just wanted to start out by saying that you know when they've mother f***ed each other back and forth, they will still go to dinner when this is all over." (1:48-2:08, 2:28-2:36)

Currently, NASCAR's standoff with 23XI Racing and Front Row Motorsport continues. While there is still time to sort the issue out before the 2025 season rolls out, the governing body's latest decision could be tough on the two teams.

According to reports, NASCAR has decided to run its 2025 season with 32 charters, instead of its traditional 36 charters. This means that the sanctioning body is reportedly ready to omit 23XI Racing and Front Row Motorsport's four charters from next season.

"The deadline for Plaintiffs to sign 2025 Charter Agreements expired weeks ago, and NASCAR has taken steps, consistent with its contractual obligations to other Charter Teams, to plan for a season with only 32 Charters. Plaintiffs do not need these Charter Agreements to race, and indeed have stated publicly that they will be racing in NASCAR regardless," read a statement from NASCAR (via Racing America).

If NASCAR finalizes the reported set-up, the 23XI Racing and FRM may well have to compete as non-charter teams next season.
