NASCAR 2024: Qualifying order for South Point 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway

The Las Vegas Motor Speedway is ready to host the seventh annual South Point 400 this weekend. The seventh playoff race of the season and the first race of Round of 8 begin at 2:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, October 20, in a 400.5-mile action-packed contest.

The Las Vegas Motor Speedway, in Las Vegas, Nevada, boasts a 1.5-mile-long quad-oval track. The track hosted the first South Point 400 in 2018 and had 20 degrees of banking in each turn and nine degrees on the front and backstretch.

Apart from making its second appearance on the NASCAR Cup Series calendar this year, the Las Vegas Motor Speedway will also host the Xfinity Series races this weekend.

The South Point 400 will feature 37 drivers. Like the other NASCAR races, the practice and qualifying session will open the race weekend on Saturday, October 19, at 4:35 pm ET and 5:20 pm ET on USA Network and NBC Sports to determine the starting positions for the NASCAR Cup Series’ seventh race of the playoffs.
