After witnessing the biggest modern-era wreck in NASCAR, Joey Logano came forward to defend Brad Keselowski from being held responsible for the wreck. Logano believes that "everyone gets more aggressive" by the end of the race.

In a post-race interview, the Team Penske driver expressed his views on the wreck at NASCAR's longest track and mentioned that #21 driver Harison Burton "shoved" Logano and transferred it to the #6 driver Keselowski. He further highlighted that the wreck was "nobody's fault."

"It's not Brad's fault; it's not anybody's fault; it's just the product that the races got. And it was getting more and more aggressive as the laps wind down. And happens a lot. Glenda is where it's fun until it's not. I even have fun today. You can't even do anything here," stated Joey Logano. [00:25]

Further, the Team Penske driver explained that everyone was stuck in their place on a superspeedway because it was tough to make moves when everyone was packed too close. Even the car had too much drag, making it much harder to switch lanes and overtake other drivers.

Joey Logano also shed light on the fact they are constantly reminded of their points during the race, and he was 13 points behind to qualify for the next round of the playoffs. The reigning Cup Series Champion Ryan Blaney is the only team Penske driver in the top eight for the next round of the playoffs.

Like Joey Logano, Brad Keselowski believes nobody's at fault for the wreck at Talladega

In a post-race interview, RFK racing team driver Brad Keselowski shared that the #6 driver mentioned that the Fords were in the bottom lane while the Chevys were in the middle lane, and something happened with the #38 Ford driver, Todd Gilliland. He stayed in the bottom lane, blocking the lane, which started a chain of reactions. He explained:

"When he blocked the bottom lane with all the forts in it, it caused us all to react, and we stretched it, and since rubber band, so we stretched rubber band and then snapped back down the back stretch. You know, I caught the two car, checked up a little bit. The 22 came, hit me, then all three of us kind of ran into each other. [00:37]

Keselowski believes Team Penske drivers Austin Cindric and Joey Logano did nothing wrong. He added Keselowski couldn't have done anything differently to avoid the wreck on NASCAR's longest track.

And just, you know, end of the race deal there. I'm I probably think Austin or Joey did any wrong I don't know what I could do any different, just kind of how it goes.," Keselowski concluded. [00:57]

The non-playoff driver dominated the race, and the RFK driver finished as the runner-up after Ricky Stenhouse Jr. William Byron was in third place and qualified for the next round of playoffs.
