Ryan Garcia, the former interim WBC lightweight champion, has been under fire following his recent suspension for testing positive for the banned substance ostarine. Despite the overwhelming evidence against him, Garcia has continued to deny any wrongdoing, claiming that he never pleaded guilty to PED usage.

In a recent social media post, Garcia stated that he allowed the New York State Athletic Commission (NYSAC) to make their decision, which was a one-year suspension. He further alleged that even if the case had gone to court, the NYSAC would have ultimately done whatever they wanted to him.

In an X post, he wrote:

“Why is it circling around now that I plead guilty to PED’s. I let the NYSAC make the decision they wanted to do which was a one year suspension. Bc I was advised that even if this was taken to court no matter what the court decided the NYSAC will still do whatever they wanted to me I never took steroids”

However, fans have been quick to point out the inconsistencies in Garcia's claims. Many have argued that if he truly believed in his innocence, he would have fought the suspension and presented evidence to prove his case. Instead, he opted to accept the one-year ban, which suggests that he was aware of his guilt.

One fan wrote:

“Stop lying. You obviously plead guilty, cause if you didn’t this shit would’ve still been dragging on till now. They proved you guilty, you never proved your innocent.”

Another chimed in and wrote:

“King Ostarine let’s goooo!!”

Another added:

“lol why you didn’t prove your self innocent like you said you was?”

Ryan Garcia claims he'll beat Devin Haney again in a rematch

Ryan Garcia has responded to Devin Haney's social media post hinting at a potential return to the ring, stating that he would easily defeat Haney again if they were to face off in a rematch. Garcia's confidence stems from his dominant victory over Haney in their previous encounter, where he dominated the fight and knocked Haney down three times.

“I would beat his [backside] twice. I beat him easy. They could blood test me every week, every day. They could have a camera in my training camp. They could know everything, but this man will not beat me.”
