When is TUF 31 featuring Conor McGregor airing?

Former UFC two-division champion Conor McGregor and No. 5 ranked lightweight contender Michael Chandler will go head-to-head as coaches on the upcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter [TUF].

McGregor, his wife, and children flew in on a private jet to Las Vegas, where the show is set to take place. Following the premiere of the series, the two coaches will begin preparing to face each other later this year on a date yet to be determined. The potential bout has all the makings of a blockbuster clash.

The show will premiere on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, and will air exclusively on ESPN. The entire twelve-episode season of The Ultimate Fighter 31 will begin on May 30 at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT with the premiere of the first episode. Episodes will be available for on-demand streaming on ESPN+ at 11 p.m., after the network debut. In addition, UFC fans can rewatch all 30 seasons of TUF on ESPN+.

It was recently revealed that TUF 31 will feature a unique veterans vs. prospects theme. Half of the competitors will be previously released fighters from the promotion, while the other half will be fresh prospects. The show's participants have not yet been confirmed, however, viewers may expect some names to be confirmed during the course of the filming.

MMA fans react to the return of Conor McGregor

It's safe to say that no mixed martial arts event compares in scale to a Conor McGregor fight week. The Irishman delivers the complete package and his beloved fans have been patiently waiting for his return since he broke his leg against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264.

Fans' excitement for the upcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter has reached a fever pitch after seeing images of Conor McGregor shooting in the fight capital of the world, Las Vegas.

Understandably, many Twitter users reacted to the photographs of Conor McGregor's return by expressing their joy at the fighter's return. One fan wrote:

"I cannot wait."

Another fan questioned whether being around young hungry prospects in the sport will rub off on McGregor:

"Think Conor doing the show will help him get hungry again. Being around younger guys motivation to be something and so forth may help him return to an old mindset."

Another fan wrote:

"Conor is actually pretty talented …it’s his gas tank and lack of heart that holds him back from being great."
