Rodtang Jitmuangnon defended his ONE flyweight Muay Thai world title for the third time against Petchdam Petchyindee in July 2020 during the main event of ONE: No Surrender inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.

One of the best shots he landed during the match was a liver shot that made his fellow Thai wince in pain. ONE Championship recently reposted that sequence on their Instagram account, and they captioned it with:

"Lethal 🔥 Will see another massive live shots from Rodtang at ONE 169? @rodtang_jimungnon"

In the video, 'Iron Man' quickly marched forward and threw a lightning-quick punch straight to 'The Baby Shark's' liver before grabbing his head and finally dumping him down the mat.

Eventually, Rodtang secured the nod from the judges with a majority decision victory, which not only retained his 26-pound golden belt but also maintained his immaculate record under the world's largest martial arts organization.

Before this victory over Petchdam, the 27-year-old striking maestro has already picked up seven straight wins, including three championship victories against Jonathan Haggerty (twice) and Walter Goncalves.

Jarred Brooks picks Rodtang to win against John Lineker in a potential dream match

With former ONE bantamweight MMA world champion John Lineker making a buzz in the art of eight limbs after winning two straight knockouts, an idea of a dream match-up with Rodtang has been floated.

Jarred Brooks, the reigning ONE interim strawweight MMA world champion, is among the athletes who want to see this come to fruition.

In a recent exclusive interview with Sportskeeda MMA, he believes that the Jitmuangnon Gym representative could get the job done against 'The Hands of Stone', as he said:

"I could see either Rodtang playing him on the outside with kicks or KO with an elbow on the inside."
