UFC Vegas 98 is slated to take place this weekend (Saturday, Oct. 12) at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Fight Night event will be headlined by a high-stakes flyweight showdown between top-five contenders Brandon Royval and Tatsuro Taira.

The UFC Vegas 98 lineup is packed with exciting matchups. In the co-main event, seasoned middleweight fighters Brad Tavares and JunYong Park will go head-to-head. Fans can also look forward to a lightweight battle between Grant Dawson and Rafa García, a strawweight contest featuring Julia Polastri and Cory McKenna, and a welterweight clash between Daniel Rodriguez and Alex Morono.

The fighters' walkouts are the heartbeat of any major fight card, turning the arena into a hotbed of energy. These entrances not only fuel the fighters but also create an electric atmosphere. While the walkout songs for the UFC Vegas 98 lineup remain a mystery, we can explore the iconic tracks these athletes have chosen in the past.

With a UFC record of 6-3, Brandon Royval is preparing for his return to the octagon after a split decision win over Brandon Moreno in their rematch at UFC Mexico City this past February. Before that, 'Raw Dawg' came up short in his bid for the flyweight title, falling to reigning champion Alexandre Pantoja at UFC 296. Now, Royval aims to reignite his title aspirations with a victory this Saturday.

'Raw Dawg' has a strong affinity for consistency regarding his walkout tracks, frequently choosing 'Shimmy Shimmy Ya' by Ol’ Dirty Bastard for his bouts. In his latest UFC appearance, however, Royval added a twist to his entrance by blending the iconic beats of his signature song with 'El Rey' by Vicente Fernández.

Meanwhile, Tatsuro Taira, boasting an unblemished record of 6-0 in the octagon, is fresh off a second-round TKO victory over Alex Perez at UFC Vegas 93 in June. The 24-year-old rising star from Japan is eager to notch another win and set his sights on a title shot.

Like his opponent, Taira has a signature walkout song that he brings to the octagon: 'Power to the People' by John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band. This empowering anthem has accompanied him in all of his UFC fights.
