UFC Vegas 97: Jessica Andrade vs. Natalia Silva: Full video highlights

The co-main event of UFC Vegas 97 featured an exciting flyweight clash between Natalia Silva and former UFC champion Jessica Andrade. The event was held on Sept. 7 at the UFC Apex facility in Enterprise, Nevada.

Andrade walked into the bout with a two-fight win streak that included wins over Mackenzie Dern and Marina Rodriguez. Silva, on the other hand, was riding an 11-fight win streak before her encounter against 'Bate Estaca'.

Silva started the fight on an impressive note as she put her kicks to use to get the better of the former UFC champion in the opening round of the fight.

In the second round, Andrade attempted to take her opponent down but Silva put her superior takedown defense on showcase. The 27-year-old continued to use her kicks to outstrike Andrade.

The story remained the same in the final round as Silva continued to outclass Andrade.

The UFC Vegas 97 co-main event went the 15-minute distance and ended with a unanimous decision victory for the 27-year-old. All three judges scored the contest 30-27 in favor of Silva.
