Marlon Vera vs. Deiveson Figueiredo took place at UFC Abu Dhabi on Aug. 3 at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi. The bantamweight attraction didn't disappoint, as it was an entertaining clash between two spirited combatants.

'Chito' entered the bout following his unanimous decision loss to reigning bantamweight champion Sean O'Malley and looked to regain momentum at 135 pounds.

'Deus da Guerra', on the other hand, entered the bout after winning back-to-back fights following his move to bantamweight. Figueiredo has inserted himself in the division's title scene by recently defeating Rob Font and former bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt.
