UFC 305 commentary & broadcast team: Will Dominick Cruz replace Joe Rogan in Perth?

UFC 305 is just around the corner and promises to be a thrilling event with a star-studded card. Furthermore, the entire commentary and broadcast team for the pay-per-view event have also been revealed.

The ninth pay-per-view event of UFC in 2024 is scheduled to take place this Saturday at the RAC Arena in Perth, Australia. The promotion returns to Australia for the first time since February 2023. The event also marks the start of a new partnership with Perth, with the promotion returning to the city twice a year.

The main card of UFC 305 is scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM PT/10:00 PM ET and 3:00 AM BST for viewers in the UK, according to UFC.com.

The identities of those who will contribute to the show as commentators and analysts have been made public.

The official UFC 305 weigh-in show will be hosted by Dan Hellie on Friday at 6:00 p.m. ET. UFC Hall of Famer Daniel Cormier, Dominick Cruz, and Alexander Volkanovski will join him as analysts.

Former UFC middleweight title challenger Chael Sonnen will be joined by Anthony Smith and Laura Sanko. They will serve as desk analysts for the UFC 305 post-fight show and, as needed, during the event itself. Brett Okamoto will act as host.

Prominent UFC reporter Megan Olivi will interview a few of the fighters on the UFC 305 card backstage before and after the fight, in addition to providing more live coverage of the event. Meanwhile, the legendary octagon announcer Bruce Buffer will introduce the fighters.

Finally, Jon Anik will be the main voice on the mic from the octagon side for UFC 305. He will call play-by-play alongside Cormier and Cruz, who will serve as a replacement for Joe Rogan. Din Thomas will also make appearance as the event's coach-analyst.

Robert Whittaker predicts UFC 305 main event

This weekend at UFC 305, Israel Adesanya will make his much-awaited comeback against Dricus du Plessis in a middleweight title showdown. Robert Whittaker, a former middleweight champion who is currently vying for the title, will be closely monitoring the bout.
