UFC 304 commentary & broadcast team: Will Michael Bisping replace Joe Rogan in Manchester?

The UFC 304 commentary and broadcast team appears to be set as Michael Bisping will be in the booth, in place of Joe Rogan for this weekend's pay-per-view event. The event takes place at the Co-op Live in Manchester, England.

With the promotion returning to England for a pay-per-view event, it's logical that the former middleweight champion is included on the broadcast team. The pay-per-view is unique as the main card begins at 3 a.m. BST, so it will be interesting to see whether it has an effect on the overall atmosphere or quality of the broadcast as the main event will begin at approximately 5 a.m. BST.

According to a report by MMA Fighting, UFC officials confirmed that the broadcast team is set with Bisping joining the three-man commentary team along with Daniel Cormier, Jon Anik, and Megan Olivi on reporting duties. With Bisping and Cormier handling the color commentary duties, it confirms that Rogan will not be working the event.

Bisping being added to the UFC 304 broadcast team in place of Rogan doesn't necessarily mean he replaced the JRE host.

Rogan is signed to a much different deal than his colleagues on the broadcast as he only works domestic pay-per-views. With that in mind, there was always going to be a vacant spot on the commentary team for this Saturday because the pay-per-view event takes place in Manchester, England.

Based on the promotion's pay-per-view schedule, fans will have to wait until Sept.14. to hear Rogan calling the action on commentary again. Next month's pay-per-view is scheduled to take place in Perth, Australia followed by UFC 306 at the Sphere in Las Vegas on Sept.14, which is a domestic pay-per-view.
