Tyson Fury says not fighting Anthony Joshua would be a "travesty" despite potential losing streak: "It doesn’t matter if we’re 50 years old" 

Tyson Fury remains adamant that a fight with Anthony Joshua will happen, even if both are 50 years old. The British heavyweight champions have been circling each other for years, with ongoing talks of a showdown, including a potential two-fight deal from Saudi Arabia to London.

However, Joshua’s knockout loss to Daniel Dubois at Wembley Stadium in August has complicated matters.

Despite the obstacles, 'The Gypsy King' has warned 'AJ' that their 'Battle of Britain' is unavoidable. Speaking to Undisputed's Paul Dempsey, the 36-year-old said:

"Joshua, he knows he's getting it. Even if we're 50 years old he's got to fight me. There's no escaping it, he cannot escape me. Even if we are 50, we're still going to sell out Wembley. That is a fact, and anybody they can all get it."[H/t:The Sun]

Fury reiterated his stance in a recent TNT Sports interview:

"At the end of the day, It'll be a travesty if we didn't fight... no matter if he loses twenty more fights... It doesn't matter, we have to fight. It doesn’t matter if we’re 50 years old."
