Strawweight MMA firecracker 'Thunder Kid' Lito Adiwang of the Philippines has some advice for the United Kingdom's Jacob Smith ahead of arguably the biggest fight of the latter's career.

Smith is set to challenge 'The Iron Man' Rodtang Jitmuangnon in a world title rematch early next month, and Adiwang believes the Englishman needs to mix it up.

'Thunder Kid' told Sportskeeda MMA in an exclusive interview:

"So that’s how I want to challenge Jacob, to try and use a different style against Rodtang. We’ve seen a lot of fighters who tried to stand toe-to-toe with him only to fail ultimately. So why not try a different approach?"

The 32-year-old Smith made his debut in the world's largest martial arts organization in May of 2022, against none other than Rodtang himself. The two went to war at ONE 157: Petchmorakot vs. Vienot, where 'The Iron Man' took home a three-round unanimous decision.

Unfortunately for Smith, he was completely and utterly dominated by the Thai icon, and became a permanent fixture in Rodtang's highlight reel.

Now, the two are ready to tango again, and Smith says this time, things will be different.
