Tom Aspinall recently sounded off on Jon Jones for remaining silent following his first-round knockout win over Curtis Blaydes at UFC 304. The Englishman has continued to aim for 'Bones' for being dismissive of a unification bout in favor of fighting Stipe Miocic.

The reigning interim heavyweight champion's impressive performances have resulted in fans clamoring for the UFC to change their plans and book the fight they want to see. Despite the fan interest, the promotion has been steadfast and Dana White has even confirmed that the next heavyweight title fight will be Jones vs. Miocic, with Aspinall challenging the winner should they remain active.

During his recent appearance on the Believe You Me podcast, the Englishman took a jibe at the reigning UFC heavyweight champion's weight and claimed that he was hoping for him to lose against Blaydes. Aspinall mentioned that Jones has been silent and will likely continue to avoid him should he defeat Miocic. He said:

"We know [Jones is] a bit overweight these days, the guy was sat there, mate, with the Cheeto fingers...the Doritos on his fingers with his iPhone in hand waiting for me to get knocked out so he could start tweeting about it. Let's be honest, since I won that fight he's gone completely quiet...because there's no way on earth that he's gonna fight me...I will retire Jon Jones without even fighting him."

Tom Aspinall claims Jon Jones has no interest in fighting him

Despite the fan interest, Tom Aspinall claims that Jon Jones has no interest in fighting him even if he were to get past Stipe Miocic.

During the aforementioned appearance, Aspinall mentioned that he felt strongly about Jones avoiding him because he hadn't expressed interest in a potential fight materializing. He said:

"There is nowhere that you could find publicly, nowhere, [Jones] saying that he will fight me. It doesn't exist. I challenge anybody watching this interview to go and find a statement...quote...video where Jon Jones is stating that he'll fight me after he's fought Stipe [Miocic]. It doesn't exist."
