Conor McGregor and UFC CEO Dana White have often expressed their respect for each other's entrepreneurial prowess. The 36-year-old McGregor recently put forth an Instagram post, featuring several photographs of himself from BKFC 63 and its afterparty. Fans soon chimed in on it, with one notably suggesting that McGregor's transforming into White.

McGregor has competed in some of the highest-grossing fights in MMA history. Additionally, his lone professional boxing match, the iconic 'money fight' against Floyd Mayweather Jr., reportedly earned him millions of dollars.

'The Notorious' accrues revenues from some of the brands he's established -- including Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey, August McGregor clothing, Forged Irish Stout, and more. The Irishman was also announced as the new co-owner of BKFC (Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship) in April 2024.

McGregor was in attendance for BKFC 63 at the Buffalo Chip Campground in Sturgis, South Dakota, on Aug. 3, 2024. He partook in the 2024 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally as well and recently posted multiple images from the events. McGregor tagged the Instagram handles of his BKFC, Proper 12, and Forged Irish Stout brands in the post's statement, besides writing:

"BAREKNUCKLE BOSS"

Taking to the post's comments section, fight fans weighed in on the same, with many predicting that Conor McGregor is unlikely to ever fight again. One commenter insinuated that it'd be easier for him to simply announce his retirement, while others asserted that Michael Chandler is never going to get his long-awaited fight against McGregor.

Multiple netizens implied that 'The Notorious' keeps changing his look. A fan likened him to WWE legend Stone Cold Steve Austin and wrote:

"Stone Cold McGregor"

An Instagram user alluded to McGregor's smoking and drinking in some of the photos and urged him to return to combat sports competition. One netizen emphasized that they believe in him, whereas another praised the former UFC featherweight and lightweight champion for looking sharp.

Intriguingly, a commenter seemed to suggest that McGregor has enough wealth and freedom than most others. The fan added that though it'd be nice to see him fight again, he doesn't need to fight for money. Meanwhile, a fan likened McGregor to the 55-year-old White and wrote:

Dana White on Conor McGregor's wealth affecting his fighting career

On NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal's The Big Podcast earlier this year, Dana White drew parallels between UFC megastars Conor McGregor and Ronda Rousey. White acknowledged Rousey's work as a women's MMA pioneer and pointed out that she was the biggest star in all of MMA for a few years.

White opined that the tremendous wealth and multitude of opportunities that came Rousey's way, ended up adversely affecting her combat sports career and she eventually stepped away from fighting. The UFC boss highlighted that 'Rowdy' amassed so much money that she didn't have to fight anymore. He feels McGregor could face a similar fate.

Conor McGregor has hinted at a UFC comeback in Dec. 2024. Regardless, White emphasized that McGregor has accumulated even more riches than Ronda Rousey has and doesn't need to fight again. Underscoring how wealth changes a fighter, White stated:

"Conor McGregor is 10x that. When that kind of money becomes involved in the fight business, it's tough, man."
