Jake Paul reignited his rivalry with Nate Diaz this week, but not everyone is impressed with his tactics. Paul took a jab at Diaz following the latter's lawsuit against MMA promotional company Fanmio. Diaz is suing Fanmio for the $9 million he claims he's owed from his recent boxing match against Jorge Masvidal.

Paul, alongside PFL founder Donn Davis, had previously offered Diaz a reported $15 million for an MMA rematch inside the PFL cage. With Diaz embroiled in a legal battle concerning his earnings from the Masvidal fight, Paul couldn't resist taking a sly dig.

Speaking to the media recently, 'The Problem Child' had this to say on Diaz's situation:

“I think Nate Diaz and the Masvidal lawsuit just shows how dumb these people are. This is not an easy business. Boxing is not easy. It’s not easy to sell pay-per-views. If someone’s giving you a big guarantee, it’s most likely fraudulent. And Nate Diaz should’ve taken my $15 million MMA offer, but yesterday’s price is not today’s price. So now that he needs the money, the offer goes down. And I’m still down to run it in the PFL against Nate Diaz.”

Paul implied that he is open to fighting Diaz in a rematch, however, the money on the table might be less this time.

Fan reactions were mixed. While some agreed with Paul's assessment of the situation, others criticized him for trying to take advantage of Diaz's situation.

"Sounds like Jake's trying to lowball Nate. $15 mil was an initial offer, but now it's gonna be less since Nate supposedly needs the cash? That's just a cheap shot, bro."
"He's 100% correct, and this is exactly how negotiating works. Be smart or be broke"

Jake Paul admits risk in facing Mike Perry before Mike Tyson fight

Jake Paul acknowledged the gamble he's taking by fighting Mike Perry this weekend instead of waiting for his rescheduled bout with Mike Tyson.

The YouTuber-turned-boxer was originally slated to face the legendary heavyweight in July, but Tyson's health issues postponed the fight to November. Now, Paul steps into the ring against Perry, a former UFC star known for his bare-knuckle boxing prowess.

Speaking to DAZN, 'The Problem Child' Paul addressed the danger Perry poses. However, despite the risk, Paul stated that he wants to stay active:

"I need the experience, I need to stay active. I fear no man, I'm ready anytime, any place, anyone, and I truly back that up with my action, it's not just something I say; I'm here to become world champion, I've done everything else I wanted to do in boxing, I've exceeded my expectations so that's my last goal. I will be the cruiserweight world champion." [H/t: Mirror]
