MMA fans are shocked by the massive stature of Francis Ngannou's upcoming opponent, Renan Ferreira. 'The Predator' is well-known for his physique, but his Brazilian foe made him look like the smaller man during the pre-fight weigh-ins.

Currently, Ngannou is all set to make his return to MMA against Ferreira at PFL Super Fights: Battle of the Giants. His last MMA fight against Ciryl Gane at UFC 270 was on 22 January 2022, and he'll look to end a lengthy hiatus from the cage this weekend.

While Ngannou was always the bigger fighter during his UFC run, he'll be at a size disadvantage this Saturday. The 2.03m tall Ferreira made the 1.93m tall Ngannou look relatively small at the pre-fight faceoffs.

MMA fans gave out startled reactions to a tweet from @BenTheBaneDavis, which highlighted this visual.

One such reaction read:

"That looks photoshopped, crazy seeing Francis look the smaller man!"

Other fans wrote:

"Wow, yeah, that dude is huge!!!"
"BRO, if you can make Francis look small, you must be a whole a** house."
"Never seen someone mog Ngannou in terms of size and height. How big is bro"

Francis Ngannou wants to stay active to pay tribute to his deceased son

Francis Ngannou hasn't seen much professional success in 2024, as he lost the only boxing match he stepped into. However, he has suffered a lot more personally. Earlier this year, the former UFC champion received some tragic news. His 15-month-old son, Kobe, died.

Ngannou refused to bow down to the sorrows of his loss. He is all set to return to the MMA cage to lock horns with Renan Ferreira and has been open about taking on more boxing fights down the line. In an interview with CNN recently, he mentioned that the best way to pay homage to his late son would be to do positive things and stay active in his field.

"The best way to pay tribute to him [Kobe], to honor him, is to do something positive. To keep staying active because that’s the best way to pay tribute to him instead of just quit[ting]. Because if I stop fighting, that would have been like quitting."
