Sean Strickland has expounded upon his dislike for fellow UFC staple Khalil Rountree Jr. 'Tarzan' seemingly traced their feud's origin to a few alleged incidents involving Rountree.

Back in March 2022, Rountree defeated Karl Roberson via second-round TKO at UFC Vegas 50. During his post-fight press conference, Rountree burst into tears while addressing life and his approach toward it.

'The War Horse' garnered praise for displaying his emotional side. Nevertheless, Sean Strickland lambasted Rountree, deeming his behavior as the "g*yest sh**" he'd ever seen and labeling him a "PC BETA male."

Incidentally, in 2023, Sean Strickland himself shed tears while speaking about his personal life on comedian Theo Von's podcast. Strickland was later criticized for his alleged hypocrisy concerning Rountree and himself.

In a recent interview with The Schmo, Strickland once again accused Rountree of being in a cult. Strickland referred to it as "Las Vegas Choice," alluding to Rountree's reported affiliation with the ChoiceCenter Leadership University.

The emotional and leadership training institution has faced accusations of cult-like practices. Its founder and CEO, Robyn Williams, notably praised Rountree on her Instagram handle in 2022.

Moreover, Strickland cited an alleged incident, wherein Rountree attempted to show a woman a maneuver. Strickland recalled that she supposedly joked about se*ual assault and offended Rountree. Strickland stated:

"Like a white woman that if you were to see in a bar and it was closing down, you would just be like, 'I'm going home alone.' Like this is the level of white woman we're talking about. Anyways, Khalil goes and grabs her and says, 'Hey, I'm going to. I want to show a move.' And grabs her. And she makes a joke. She makes a joke. She goes, 'Oh, se*ual harassment.'"

He added:

"And Khalil, this little bi*ch, beta male bi*ch, he goes, 'I'm a black man.' Khalil, are you a black man? We don't know yet. You don't sound like a black man. He goes, 'I'm a black man in America. You don't accuse me of that.' And after that, that moment, when I realized Khalil is a liberal c*ck beta male. We can't be friends anymore."

Sean Strickland recounts another story about himself and Khalil Rountree Jr.

Former UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland has lately been campaigning for a title rematch against current middleweight kingpin Dricus du Plessis. Meanwhile, Khalil Rountree Jr. fights UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira for his title at UFC 307 on Oct. 5, 2024. Strickland is one of Pereira's sparring partners for the camp.

Speaking to The Schmo, Strickland recounted that he'd once invited Rountree to a wrestling practice and deemed him the easiest spar. Strickland recalled provoking Rountree and criticized him for not responding aggressively. He said:

"I've wrestled Khalil. He can't f**king wrestle. Tell you another story about Khalil Rountree, motherf**ker ... You know what this little bi*ch did? Put his head down, walked off the mat, and said, 'Sean, I don't like you, and I don't respect you.'" [3:00]

Sean Strickland highlighted that Khalil Rountree Jr. visited his gym once thereafter and respectfully requested him to stop making fun of him and what Strickland deemed was Rountree's "cult." 'Tarzan' recalls promising that he'll try but admitted that he's still mocking them.
