Sean O'Malley recently weighed in on the featherweight title fight between Ilia Topuria and Max Holloway and shared his thoughts on what he believes will transpire. The highly anticipated bout is scheduled to headline UFC 308, which takes place on Oct. 26 in Abu Dhabi.

The main event is a very intriguing matchup, especially considering their most recent respective performances. Topuria dethroned Alexander Volkanovski with an impressive knockout, while Holloway earned a spectacular last-second knockout over Justin Gaethje to win the 'BMF' title. The bout could have a significant impact on 'El Matador's' legacy should he earn a win over 'Blessed', who is regarded as one of the greatest to ever compete at 145 pounds.

During the latest episode of TimboSugarShow, 'Suga' expressed his excitement for the featherweight title clash and noted that he believes it will be an entertaining stand-up fight. O'Malley mentioned that he is curious to see who comes out victorious and disagreed with his coach Tim Welch's prediction about the first round telling of whether the bout is contested on the feet or the ground:

"I am fu**ing excited for [Topuria vs. Holloway], dude...I think they're both such dogs that no matter what happens in the first round, they could switch it. Like, one punch can change the fight...This is as high level as it gets. It's going to be a sweet kickboxing fight too." [33:31 - 33:59]

Tim Welch echoes Sean O'Malley's sentiments regarding Ilia Topuria vs. Max Holloway

Tim Welch echoed Sean O'Malley's sentiments regarding Ilia Topuria vs. Max Holloway and chimed in with his prediction for what he believes will transpire.

During the aforementioned episode, Welch mentioned that Holloway is a difficult fight to read on the feet and is interested to see whether Topuria can have the same success as he did against Alexander Volkanovski:

"I'm curious if Ilia [Topuria] is gonna be able to track [Holloway] down enough, cut him off enough to where he's going to be able to put Max on the fence and sit in the pocket and let go of his nasty combos...Or is Max going to be beautiful with his footwork and keep at the end of his punches for the whole time?"
