Robert Whittaker recently sat down with Full Violence MMA's Aly Mac in the latest installment of The Kick Back series. In it, he poked fun at Israel Adesanya and Dricus du Plessis. While the full episode of the interview is scheduled for release next week, a teaser has drawn attention to X/Twitter.
In the aforementioned clip, which Full Violence shared, Whittaker answers fan questions. One question is whether he'd choose painting his nails like Adesanya or kissing his coach on the lips like du Plessis. Whittaker wastes little time answering the question.
"Does 'DDP?' He kisses on the lips? Probably kiss my coach. Sorry, babe. To all my friends and family, surprise! No, because, it's an act of intimacy, but it's not romantic intimacy. It's just closeness. It's, like, you kiss your kids on the lips. I don't, now, except for when I want to annoy them. Whereas I feel like painting my nails is a choice. It's like, I don't know, makes me feel funny inside. Yeah, I'm not painting my nails."

Currently, Whittaker's focus isn't on Adesanya or du Plessis. Instead, he's locked in on his UFC 308 opponent, undefeated phenom Khamzat Chimaev. The pair were previously set to face off at UFC on ABC 6 back on June 6.
Unfortunately, as has become a more frequent occurrence with Chimaev, he withdrew from the bout due to illness. He was replaced by the then-streaking Ikram Aliskerov, who 'The Reaper' subsequently knocked out in just one round.
Robert Whittaker has history with both Israel Adesaya and Dricus du Plessis
As a former UFC middleweight champion and longtime top contender, Robert Whittaker has fought the who's who at 185 pounds. He faced Israel Adesanya twice, losing via knockout to 'The Last Stylebender' at UFC 243, which cost him his title, before taking him to a close unanimous decision loss at UFC 271.
