Netizens pointed out an entirely different angle to the video of an unknown woman trying to push Conor McGregor to join the dance at the 2024 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. While the MMA community is trying to put the pieces together, UFC middleweight contender Paulo Costa recently commented on the picture of the Irishman seemingly enjoying the company of the same woman in question.

A video of McGregor became viral in which a woman made a play for attention from the UFC fighter. However, 'The Notorious' ignored her attempt and continued enjoying his drink. In a fresh angle from the viral episode, McGregor can be seen holding the same woman in his arms.

Former UFC middleweight title challenger Costa shared a two-word reaction to the video of McGregor on X, writing:

"Admit it."

During fan reaction under the same X post, Costa revealed that he will return to action in November. The Brazilian is enduring the sting of a 1-4 record in his past five outings against stiff competition. He was last seen inside the octagon succumbing to a split-decision loss to Sean Strickland at UFC 302.

McGregor, meanwhile, was supposed to return to action following a three-year-long hiatus against Michael Chandler in a welterweight tilt at UFC 303. A broken toe sustained in training barred him from competing on the card. While UFC CEO Dana White has confirmed that we might not see McGregor in action this year, the former UFC two-division champion is pushing for a fight on one of the closing pay-per-views of the year.

Chael Sonnen believes Conor McGregor wants to return to action despite contrasting narratives

Conor McGregor hasn't fought since UFC 264 due to a broken foot sustained in the rubber match against Dustin Poirier back in July 2021.

The patchy updates on McGregor's return to action and the recent withdrawal from the UFC 303 card have ruptured the patience of fans. Moreover, recent updates from CEO Dana White that the Irishman will not be competing this year have only added fuel to the notion.

That being said, Chael Sonnen believes that McGregor truly wants to return to action and disputed contrasting claims. Speaking on the recent episode of ESPN MMA's Good Guy / Bad Guy, Sonnen said:

"I am hearing the organization would like him to fight in California in January... I think the story of Conor is being a little bit mistold in this way, I believe him, I believe that he wants to fight… I believe he's going behind the scenes... See, he loves to feint power to let people know it's all my decision. I believe he has humbled himself... The story is being told that Conor is dangling this, I don’t think so.
