Paulo Costa has not entered the octagon since suffering a split decision loss to Sean Strickland in a five-round co-main event at UFC 302 in July. That marked 'Borrachinha's second bout this year after he ended an 18-month hiatus with a unanimous decision loss to Robert Whittaker at UFC 298 in February.

It was also the first time he fought multiple times in a calendar year since 2017, the year he made his UFC debut. The No.9-ranked middleweight is unlikely to return this year and wants to close out the year by partying.

Costa recently took to X to inquire if there are any Diddy parties this weekend, tweeting:

"Does anyone know of any cheap “Diddy“ party this weekend?"

Costa sent out a follow-up tweet less than an hour later, claiming that the potential for World War III coincides with his free time to enjoy Diddy parties:

"Just in my turn to go enjoy “Diddy” parties those peoples gonna start the III WW? No way 😫"

Costa is likely referring to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, which saw Iran launch over 100 ballistic missiles at Israel on Tuesday in the latest development.

The 33-year-old won't be able to attend an official Diddy party. The music mogul and entrepreneur is currently being held in jail without bail as he awaits trial on sex trafficking and racketeering charges.

Paulo Costa questions if a global war is imminent

There have been several major international land disputes that have led to war over the past few years.

Paulo Costa recently took to X to question if a global war is imminent after Iran launched missiles at Israel. 'Borranchinha' tweeted:

"We have seen Russia x Ukraine war , Israel fighting Hamas/Hezbollah/Iran. If China look at this as good timing and strikes Taiwan, [it] can easily be the ignition for global war."

Check out Paulo Costa's tweet on the potential of a global war below:

There has been plenty of conflict between China and Taiwan, however, there hasn't been any attack or invasion. There has, however, been speculation that the former could choose to attack out of nowhere without warning.
