Nate Diaz wants "2 nerds" removed from Dana White's BMF title tournament proposal: "They don't fit the description" 

Nate Diaz competed for the inaugural BMF title back in 2019 when he suffered a third-round TKO via doctor's stoppage against Jorge Masvidal at UFC 244. The belt has been put back in circulation, with Justin Gaethje and Max Holloway since joining 'Gamebred' as 'BMF' champions.

Dustin Poirier, who 'The Highlight' defeated for the belt at UFC 291, recently proposed a one-night four-man tournament - involving himself, Gaethje, Holloway and Dan Hooker - for the title, which drew the intrigue of UFC CEO Dana White.

Diaz made it clear that he doesn't believe the first two fit the part of 'BMF' as he reshared footage of the promotional frontman discussing the idea to his Instagram story, adding:

"@danawhite Dan and max are eligible for my belt but get the other 2 nerds out of there they don't fit the description 💯 👊🏼 💯"

On being asked about the idea in the video clip, the UFC CEO responded:

"Sounds fun. Never thought about it, but yeah, I love it."

It is unclear what will happen next with the 'BMF' title. Holloway, who holds the belt after defeating Gaethje via last-second fifth-round knockout at UFC 300, is set to challenge Ilia Topuria for the featherweight title at UFC 308 later this month.

Nate Diaz weighs in on potential Conor McGregor trilogy

Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor shared one of mixed martial arts greatest rivalries, however, they left the score unsettled with each fighter picking up a win against the other. While the two have teased a trilogy several times in the eight years since they last shared the octagon, nothing has come to fruition.

Speaking to Jamal Niaz, the former lightweight title challenger was asked about potentially having the trilogy in bare knuckle boxing, responding:

"I wouldn't like to fight him in the bare knuckle fight, though. I would like to fight him in a real fight because we got history there and we gotta finish what we gotta do and that's a real fight. It's the whole package. I don't think I'm fighting anybody bare knuckle because someone busts me in the face with a bare knuckle, I'm f**king dipping them on their ass and f**king them up."
