Former UFC heavyweight Mark Hunt has shared some details of his appeal in his lawsuit against Zuffa, the former parent company of the UFC.

Hunt has been locked in a legal battle against Zuffa for a number of years, following his highly controversial bout against Brock Lesnar at UFC 200 in 2016. Lesnar originally won the bout via unanimous decision, however, the result was overturned due to him later testing positive for a banned substance.

'The Super Samoan' then filed his lawsuit in the aftermath and argued that the UFC (Zuffa) and Dana White were aware that Lesnar was taking performance-enhancing drugs, but knowingly sanctioned the bout against him anyway.

Seven years later, Mark Hunt's case was permanently dismissed by a federal judge in 2023.

Now, just months on from his case being dismissed last year, Mark Hunt has shared some details about the appeal he has launched.

Taking to X, the 50-year-old shared some extracts from his lawsuit against Zuffa that was now public information, and highlighted what he believes is evidence of false and misleading information they presented in their case. He wrote:

"Now on public record: highlighted is some of the material evidence of false & misleading information in Hunt v ZUFFA et al. I will share more leading up to the final orders from the ninth circuit i have been blocked on my other socials and will share when unblocked #onlygodisabovethelaw"

Mark Hunt unloads on Dana White following Ryan Garcia vs. Devin Haney's fight purse reveal

It doesn't appear Mark Hunt's disdain for Dana White is fading, after the former UFC heavyweight called out the UFC president following Ryan Garcia and Devin Haney's boxing bout.

Following his stunning win over Haney, 'KingRy' shared on social media that he received a $50 million paycheck for his efforts.

'The Super Samoan' then shared Garcia's post on his social media and called out White for never giving MMA fighters the chance to earn that amount of money. He wrote:

"This is why u will be fired u b**** @danawhite there has never been one MMA fighter to make this kind of money for a fight filthy degenerate swine May 8 is the date people will see your corruption and all those filth u had conspire with u"
