Justin Gaethje's girlfriend, Sophia Romano, recently duped the former 'BMF' and UFC interim lightweight champion in a TikTok trend that's been taking social media by storm. The trend in question consists of the 'Just Give Me My Money' prank, which is fairly harmless.

The premise of the prank is simple. A group of people film a video wherein each person says, 'Just give me my money,' after which the group claps for them. However, one person, in this case Gaethje, is singled out as someone who will unknowingly receive no claps, creating an uncomfortable scene.

This is what befell Gaethje, who was pranked by his girlfriend in the aforementioned manner. Naturally, the TikTok involving Gaethje has been making the rounds in the MMA X space, with the clip drawing a wave of fan reactions, with one comment labeling 'The Highlight' as goofy.

"Goofy king"

Another fan touched on the dichotomy between Gaethje's good-natured, humorous demeanor and his violent streak inside the octagon.

"Imagine trying to convince someone who doesn't follow MMA that this mf murders people in a cage."

Others likened his goofiness to Tony Ferguson, a man 'The Highlight' once beat.

"Bro is up there with Tony Ferguson"

Some, though, pointed out that Gaethje seemed to be smiling through the anguish of being the butt of the joke.

While Gaethje is currently enjoying some time away from the cage, he will be eager to return and wash away the bitter taste of his knockout loss to Max Holloway at UFC 300.

Justin Gaethje's girlfriend has always supported his UFC career

Sophia Romano is usually present at Justin Gaethje's fights, while also marking her presence at UFC 291 to witness his stunning head kick knockout of Dustin Poirier to capture the 'BMF' title. She also took to Instagram to share a picture of them together following her boyfriend's brutal UFC 300 loss to Max Holloway.

She captioned the picture in a manner to ease fan fears about Gaethje's health, while also declaring her undying support for 'The Highlight.'
