Jarred Brooks is ultra-confident that Mansur Malachiev won't stand against his cardio if they were to encounter each other for their next fight.
Brooks and Malachiev intensified their rivalry after the Russian star called him out in a post-fight interview at ONE Fight Night 25. That night, Malachiev defeated No.2-ranked strawweight Bokang Masunyane via decision, which influenced his decision to send a message to the current interim world champion.
Upon hearing the call-out, Brooks has deeply analyzed what Malachiev has to offer, if a potential fight occurs. So far, he's listed only weaknesses that could reduce the Russian's chances of becoming the next world champion.
Speaking exclusively to Sportskeeda MMA, he said:
"Cardio would play hard into him as well as Malachiev gets tired even though he pushes through it rough and rugged."
Jarred Brooks has been such a dominant force in the division because he's so good at blending different fighting styles.
He's incorporated kickboxing, Muay Thai, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and Greco-wrestling into his arsenal, which makes him an absolute danger to anyone sharing the cage with him.
