Tensions are running high in the lead-up to Jake Paul's boxing clash against Mike Perry. 'The Problem Child' is convinced that UFC CEO Dana White is campaigning for his downfall.

At the final face-off for the fight, Paul shoved the former UFC contender, almost igniting a brawl. In an onstage interview after the face-off, Paul told Ariel Helwani:

"He flew like six feet. But look, Dana White said that he's going to give him [Perry] a UFC contract if he can knock me out. Well, guess what Dana, you can rip up the f*****g contract because I'm going to f**k up Mike Perry. Anyone you send at me, any one of your MMA fighters is getting f****d up. They've been trying to assassinate me, they don't want me in this sport. They hate that I run this sport, but when you try to assassinate a guy like me it only makes me bigger."

The 27-year-old then went on to claim that he was on a mission from God to save boxing and hence will keep on winning.

As of now, 'The Problem Child' has registered notable wins against many MMA veterans including, UFC legend Anderson Silva, former welterweight champion Tyron Woodley, former multi-promotional champion Ben Askren and Nate Diaz.

In his more recent outings, Paul has also clinched wins against fighters possessing respectable pro-boxing records.

While Perry is one of the best when it comes to bare-knuckle boxing, as is evidenced by his undefeated BKFC record (5-0), he is 0-1 in pro boxing, with the lone defeat coming via KO against Kenneth McNeil in 2015.

"I'm taking your chin": Mike Perry sends spine-chilling warning to Jake Paul

It looks like Mike Perry is hoping to become the first fighter to knock out Jake Paul this weekend at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida.

During his interview with Ariel Helwani following his final face-off with the social media star, 'Platinum' said:

"They are working hard to protect him bro, but tomorrow night, in the ring, when it's just me and him, no protection. He going down... I'll beat your a** Jake... I'm here to eat everything he has got and I'm taking your chin tomorrow Jake."
