Tracy Cortez has posted several photographs heading into her fight against Rose Namajunas. The highly anticipated Namajunas-Cortez matchup headlines UFC Denver (July 13, 2024). Fight fans soon responded to Cortez's snaps.

In an Instagram post, Cortez expressed her elation about the fight, which would be the first time she'll headline a UFC card. The post featured seven images, including images of quotes regarding motivation and positivity, as well as exclusive photos of herself. The statement in her post read:

"You're looking at your main event #UFCDenver"

The first pair of images are of Cortez, who's seemingly all smiles, posing for the camera. The American fighter appears to be making an allusion to her Mexican heritage in the first image and donning official UFC gear in the other.

Cortez also posted a snap from a UFC shoot of herself. Moreover, another image was seemingly of someone in a Spider-Girl costume with a caption in Spanish. The English translation of the same indicated that she feels akin to Spider-Girl (a famous US superheroine character) when someone tells her she's strong and can do everything.

Rose Namajunas, who's the No. 6-ranked UFC women's flyweight, was initially scheduled to fight the No. 4-ranked Maycee Barber in the headlining match of UFC Denver. Nevertheless, Barber withdrew from the fight last month owing to health issues. The No. 11-ranked Cortez stepped in on short notice and will fight Namajunas in the new headlining match of the UFC Denver event.
