In Photos: Joanna Jedrzejczyk shares swimsuit snap and postcard-worthy landscape scenes from dreamy Hawaii vacation 

Former UFC strawweight queen Joanna Jedrzejczyk is basking in retirement's serenity after hanging up the gloves in June 2022 after losing a rematch against Zhang at UFC 275. The Polish star is currently vacationing in Hawaii and regularly shares pictures from the trip.

Interestingly, Jedrzejczyk has been planning a trip to the Big Island for years but has kept choosing different travel destinations. She took to Instagram to talk about the long-awaited travel ambition realized, writing:

"I had been planning a vacation to Hawaii for years, but I don't know why I kept choosing different directions, despite my great desire to visit this place. I already know that it is special and magical for me. If it weren't for meeting Kamilek at one of the gyms in Olsztyn during training and a short exchange of opinions about desires, this trip would probably have been on my "bucket list" notebook (places to visit and things to do in life)."

Jedrzejczyk was inducted into the Modern Wing of the UFC Hall of Fame in July 2024 for her contribution to the sport. During her reign as the strawweight queen, the 36-year-old registered five successful title defenses while also securing the record for the longest win streak in divisional history.

Joanna Jedrzejczyk reveals the one condition that could lure her out of retirement

Joanna Jedrzejczyk retired from the UFC following back-to-back losses to Zhang Weili. The once-undefeated fighter who had rattled off 14 straight victories, went 2-5 in her last seven outings since the undefeated stretch— perhaps a deciding factor that led to the retirement decision.

However, if history is proof, the zeal for competition persists in some fighters, and Jedrzejczyk is no different. However, she has a specific condition in mind that could sway her decision to return from retirement.

Jedrzejczyk revealed that she would make a comeback if the symbolic BMF championship was introduced for female competitors. Speaking in an interview with Cageside Press, she revealed:

“I would love to [fight]. But I don’t have a name in my head. I don’t know – whoever. I’m not afraid to fight anybody, that’s the thing. Of course, when they brought my name [up as a BMF contender], I texted Hunter [Campbell] right away.”
