With Tommy Fury at the center of controversy for allegedly cheating on his fiancée, Molly-Mae Hague, it was only a matter of time until Jake Paul chimed in. 'The Problem Child' wasted no time criticizing his former opponent for his recent decisions.

Paul told Bloody Elbow reporter Donagh Corby that Fury has lowered his "value" since their fight in February 2023, claiming he rejected a rematch offer from Most Valuable Promotions. The 27-year-old dove into Fury's personal life, saying he "feels bad" for his former rival but called him a "dumb a**" for allegedly "cheating" on Hague.

Paul said:

"[Tommy Fury] definitely continues to de-value himself over time. Saying no to the Netflix opportunity was probably the dumbest thing a boxer in history has done... And now he's got caught cheating and got divorced and is a single father... Definitely feel bad for him but it's also, you're a dumb a**."

Paul's comments were made public 10 days after Hague announced that the couple had ended their five-year-long relationship on Instagram. As fans speculated on the cause of their breakup, reports surfaced claiming Fury cheated on Hague.

The couple have been together since meeting on Love Island in 2019 and announced their engagement in July 2023. The two parent a baby together, their 19-month-old daughter Bambi, who was born in January 2023.

When is Jake Paul fighting next?

In their second attempt to make the fight, Jake Paul will be fighting Mike Tyson live on Netflix on Nov. 15 at the AT&T Arena. Paul claimed he offered the fight to Tommy Fury — the only fighter to ever beat him — who rejected the rematch, thus opening the door for Tyson's return to the sport.

The fight has been criticized for many reasons, primarily Tyson being 58 years old and not competing in a professional fight since 2005.

Since losing to Fury in his seventh professional bout, Paul has rebounded and gone 4-0 since August 2023. The four wins of his current win streak are arguably the most impressive of his career with three knockouts and a unanimous decision nod over Nate Diaz.
