Jon Jones recently took to Instagram to reciprocate weeks' worth of undying support from UFC CEO Dana White. The promotion's reigning heavyweight champion penned a caption that praised White's skill as a businessman, hailing him as the best in the world.

The caption was paired with artwork from Dosbrak, who was also tagged in the post. The artwork itself consists of White armed with a pickaxe and standing in front of a Mount Rushmore carved only with Jones' face as a nod to the UFC CEO's continued assertion that 'Bones' is the undisputed GOAT.

"You put @danawhite in a business meeting with any man on this f***ing planet, there's only one man coming out on top. Real recognize real. @dobrask"

Jones specifically echoed one of White's oft-said statements about him, that Jones would walk out of a room regardless of the men he's placed in said room with. Fans, however, were not pleased with Jones' decision to answer White's endless flattery in kind.

One fan openly questioned whether Jones was in possession of anything incriminating on White.

"What kind of stuff do you have on Dana, Jon?"

This sentiment was echoed by another fan.

"Mane I'm starting to believe Jones got sh*t on Dana."

Others likened Jones and White to a couple.

"Get a f***ing room"

No one, it seems, was happy with how Jones and White have conducted themselves regarding each other as of late.

The general consensus was a negative one and likely reflects the frustration that the MMA fandom has expressed to both White and Jones over the pair's continued insistence on booking an aging and inactive Stipe Miocic into an undisputed title fight while interim heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall is kicked to the curb.

Jon Jones' relationship with Dana White wasn't always this strong

Throughout the years, Jon Jones' relationship with Dana White has had its ups and downs, with their most public disagreement revolving around a failed matchup with then UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou. 'Bones' was alleged to have priced himself out of the bout, according to White.

This led to Jones accusing White of trying to tarnish his reputation, which drew a verbal lashing from the UFC CEO.

"In one of those tweets he's saying that I tarnished his—I tarnished you? You've done a very good job of tarnishing you."

According to White, Jones was demanding unrealistic sums of money in the realm of what heavyweight boxing star Deontay Wilder earns.
