Former ONE world title challenger 'C18' Anissa Meksen is getting her second crack at ONE Championship gold when she goes up against Filipina-American star Jackie Buntan early next month.
Meksen is one of the most decorated female martial arts athletes in history, and is widely considered among the very best pound-for-pound fighters.
Although the 36-year-old veteran's trophy case is filled with accolades, the one that has eluded her so far has been ONE Championship's 26 pounds of gold.
As such, Meksen will be looking to capture her first piece of history in the world's largest martial arts organization the next time she steps into the ring.

'C18' made her promotional debut in September of 2021 at the historic all-female card, ONE: Empower. She scored an emphatic second-round technical knockout victory over Morales to announce her arrival on the world stage in epic fashion.

Meksen would go on to score two more victories in ONE, a one-sided drubbing of Estonia's Marie Ruumet, and a dominant points victory over Dangkongfah Banchamek of Thailand.
Last December 2023, Meksen unfortunately lost in her first attempt at capturing ONE gold, dropping a five-round unanimous decision to 'The Queen' Phetjeeja Lukjaoporongtom.
Now, Meksen is ready to seize the moment and go for ONE gold again.
