Daniel Cormier has been covering WWE's ongoing WrestleMania 39 event as part of the ESPN team. Speaking of which, the former UFC light heavyweight and heavyweight champion has now taken to Twitter to post a photograph of himself alongside WWE Superstar Omos (real name: Tolulope "Jordan" Omogbehin).

Cormier, who's listed as 5'11" tall by the UFC, was dwarfed by the 7'3" tall Omos in the photo. Fans subsequently weighed in on the same, with a few hilarious takes as well as speculation about how a potential MMA fight between them would play out.

One fan tweeted that Omos looks like MMA greats Jon Jones and Demetrious Johnson:

"Looks like Jon Jones and Demetrius [sic] Johnson"

Meanwhile, a few others couldn't believe how gigantic Omos was. One fan wrote:

"Holy sh**! #wtf"

Another fan opined that Omos makes the heavyweight Cormier look as small as UFC bantamweight Dominick Cruz:

"Dawg he makes you look like Cruz"

Similarly, another fan jestingly highlighted that Omos makes Cormier look like a child:

"You're big when you make heavyweight DC look like a toddler"

One Twitter user pointed out that Omos is 3 inches taller than former UFC heavyweight Stefan Struve, who's the tallest UFC fighter ever:

"3 inches taller than @StefanStruve"

Alternatively, one fan indicated that he'd still favor 'DC' over Omos in a fight:

"You'll ankle pick this guy all day DC ...."

Another fan seemingly agreed and insinuated that Cormier would overwhelm Omos with his grappling:

"My thoughts to a tee. Dude can’t stop the takedown and getting subbed."

Moreover, one Twitter user jokingly implied that Cormier could interfere in Omos' match by entering the WWE ring during WrestleMania:

"Lol DC making a Sting entrance tonight...."

Another Twitter user asserted that Cormier would dominate Omos despite the size disadvantage:

"Funny thing is, in a real fight, that fat short guy annihilates the monster"

Several other fans rallied in support of Cormier, claiming that irrespective of his back issues, the retired MMA fighter would still beat Omos:

"DC with a bad back would still smoke Omos."

Daniel Cormier jests about attacking Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 39

Omos is scheduled to face WWE great and former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar in a singles match on Night 2 of WrestleMania 39. Lesnar's longtime rival Daniel Cormier is expected to cover the aforementioned matchup as an ESPN personality and WWE analyst. The match will transpire on April 2nd, 2023.

In a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, UFC Hall of Famer Daniel Cormier addressed the possibility of him stepping into the WWE ring to face Brock Lesnar. The bout outcomes in the world of professional wrestling and the WWE are pre-determined.

Regardless, Daniel Cormier jestingly warned that he'll smack Lesnar if he gets in his way. Many believe that 'DC' could clash with Lesnar in the WWE in the future. On that note, Cormier said:

“If Brock steps in my way?” Cormier asked with a laugh. “I’ll smack him upside his head.” (h/t: Sports Illustrated)
