Former UFC champion Charles Oliveira and Formula 1 racing star Daniel Ricciardo seem to share a friendly relationship. The two met up last November in the city of Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Ricciardo, who is an MMA enthusiast, trained with 'Do Bronx' ahead of his race at the Interlagos track in Sao Paulo.

You can watch clips of the two athletes training together below:

Both Charles Oliveira and Daniel Ricciardo had a tumultuous time last year.

The F-1 driver contracted Covid-19 in March and later parted ways with McLaren in August 2022. Ricciardo then announced that he would not be on the grid for the rest of the year.

After the termination of his contract with McLaren, Ricciardo joined hands with Red Bull Racing for the 2023 season. His role, among other things, involves completing PR activities and contributing to simulators and factory work.

Oliveira, on the other hand, competed twice last year. His first outing was scheduled against Justin Gaethje for UFC 274. But controversy struck a day before the event when the Brazilian failed to make championship weight and was stripped off the lightweight title. But 'Do Bronx' found success on fight night as he finished Gaethje with a rear-naked choke in the opening round of the contest.

Oliveira's next encounter was set up against Islam Makhachev for the vacant lightweight championship at UFC 280. The Dagestani outclassed Oliveira that night and emerged victorious in the second round via an arm-triangle choke.

Daniel Ricciardo enjoys himself in Las Vegas; Charles Oliveira prepares for his next fight

Captialising on his hiatus from racing, Daniel Ricciardo appears to be having the time of his life in Las Vegas.

The F-1 driver was seen partying with electronic duo 'The Chainsmokers' and Scotty James, a four-time Olympian snowboarder from Australia.

Charles Oliveira, on the other hand, is preparing for his next big challenge in the form of Beneil Dariush at UFC 288.

Speaking about his upcoming encounter, 'Do Bronx' said that he did not plan on having a boring fight.

"I can't say I'll do a strategic fight, that I'll be waiting. No, that's not Charles fighting. Charles fights forward, he hunts the entire time. So, if you want to watch a boring fight, don't come watch my fight."
